I believe you should choose colours that reflect your preferences and personality in order to create peace and harmony in your home.
Choose your colors wisely!
Color trends will come and go. You don’t have to worry about trends in order to have a beautiful home. Choose colors that reflect your preferences and personality.
Paint is fairly inexpensive and transforms a room more quickly than anything else, so you can afford to experiment a little. You can easily match every room’s colours to your personal desires, to your taste and to the room’s purpose.
Determine which colours you like, limit the number of colors in a room to no more than three or four. Too many colors can make a room look busy or cluttered.
Light colors are expansive and airy, making rooms seem larger and brighter. Dark colors are sophisticated and warm; they give large rooms a more intimate appearance
When selecting colours from small paint chips or swatches, remember that they will look darker when they have been painted on all the walls.
Use accent colours more than once in a room to create harmony and balance.
Colour schemes work best when you use one dominant colour as the main theme and scatter accent colours around the room to add detail, pattern and texture.
To ground the scheme select a dark flooring, the opposite works making a space float or feel open, select a very light floor.
To ensure balance in a room, don’t group your colour or pattern in one area, spread evenly around the room. Creates harmonious look.
